Going to Cocoyoc


We will be waiting at Mexico City Airport on
Sunday February 11 afternoon/evening
with two vans so that we can all go together to Cocoyoc.
Departure times of the vans will depend on arrival times of participants.
We will have a big sign saying "Neutron Star" just outside the customs exit.

How to get there
by public transportation
 From the airport:

Option 1:

A. Take a taxi to "Terminal del Sur Taxquena"
  (only take an official airport taxi, buy a ticket within the airport at a "Taxi Autorizado" booth. Cost ~ 165 pesos)
B. From Taxquena take a bus to Oaxtepec with the bus line Cristobal Colon (last bus leaves at 11 pm) or Estrella Roja (last bus leaves at 10 pm) , cost ~ 69 pesos, last ~ 1.5-2 hours. Buses depart every 10-20 minutes

Option 2:

Take a bus from the airport directly to Oaxtepec with the bus line Cristobal Colon: three departures per day, at 8:30, 15:00 and 19.30 (last about 2-2.5 hours, costs 110 pesos)

Then:

- From Oaxtepec take a taxi to the "Hotel Hacienda Cocoyoc", cost ~ 20-30 pesos, last ~ 10 minutes

Pronounciation (!):
Taxquena = taskEnya     with a as in "at" and E as in "egg", and accentuate the E !
Oaxtepec = ouAstepek    accentuating the A
Cocoyoc = kokoyOk      accentuating the O
