My research work has changed over the years. I started my work in radio astronomy in the MIT group under the supervision of Prof. B.F. Burke analyzing single radio telescope observations from Haystack (36m diameter) and also under the supervision of Dr. Mark J. Reid (CfA) and Dr. James M. Moran (CfA) Very Long Baseline Observations of Interstellar Masers. I collaborated also in VLA observations of extragalactic radio sources.
From 1982 I started my work at Instituto de Astronomia of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, in Mexico City and have worked mainly in : Observations (radio continuum, HI, CO, optical line and continuum ) of nearby Barred spiral Galaxies
